Each of us holds independent indemnity, are responsible for our own T&C, are in good standing with the GMC and agree to the T&C for consultants as listed below.

Consultants assure the following.

1. Hold indemnity suitable for their medicolegal practice.

2. Are in good standing with the GMC.

3. Participate  in annual appraisal and revalidation as determined by the GMC.

4. Are members of their professional royal college organisation.

5. Undergo refresher medicolegal training at least every 3 years.

6. Have at least 5 years of consultant experience in the UK and regularly participate in medicolegal work.

7. Undertake to inform if there is any change in the above.

8. Undertake their work in such a manner as to bring credit to the chambers by way of delivering a high quality, professional service.

9. Hold a current certificate of compliance from the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
